Court of Civil Judge (Jr. Div.) Auraiya was established on 26th June 1989 as an Outlying Court of District Etawah. It was inaugurated by Hon'ble Mr. Justice S. K. Mukharji (Administrative Judge of Hon'ble High Court Allahabad).
District Court Auraiya was initially established on 25 June 1998. Shri Muhi-ul Islam was appointed as O.S.D. through the Hon'ble High Court's Notification No.- 1202/D.R(S.)/98 Dated 03.08.1998 & G.O.no. 2166/7-Nayay-2-98/3G/98, who worked as O.S.D. from 18.08.1998 to 29.01.2000.
District & Sessions Court Auraiya was established on 29 January 2000 through Notification No. 3522/7-Nyay 2-99-2000 G/97T.C.1Lucknow dated 17.12.1999 and Hon'ble High Court's No. 8/DR(S)/2000 dated 12.01.2000. It was inaugurated by Hon'ble Mr. Justice N. K. Mitra, Chief Justice Allahabad High Court on Sunday, January 30, 2000, in the presence of Hon'ble Mr. Justice S. K. Agarwal (Inspecting Judge Auraiya), and Shri Muhi-ul Islam was appointed as the First District Judge of Auraiya.
